In order to uphold the great environmental, social and economic values aimed at a global management that protects the natural environment and that meets responsible development standards, we – as CARTOTECNICA GIOLAN – decided to implement a voluntary certification system for “paper products” (FSC® Chain of Custody) which certifies the source of the raw material used from forests managed according to internationally recognised good forest management principles and criteria.
About FSC® paper
The FSC® paper is not physically different from any other paper. Although appearing identical to other papers, it stands out for the origin of the cellulose from which it is produced. The FSC® paper is produced in accordance with the environmental requirements, respecting biodiversity, labour rights and the local populations. It is all part of a broader sustainability concept : the FSC® paper is produced without any primary forest being felled and without harming any indigenous community or ecosystem balance.
